Why we started Haven
Inviting a cleaning team into your home takes trust. Most people we spoke to before starting Haven had the same complaints about cleaning services: they never knew exactly what would be done, prices changed at the door, and getting hold of someone to fix a missed task took days.
So we built Haven around a few simple rules. Every service has a written checklist. Prices are worked out from the details you give us, before you book. And a real person answers your messages within one business day.
Our mission
A cleaner home and a simpler routine for every household we work with, whether that's a weekly visit for a busy family or a single clean on moving day.
How we work
The standards behind every visit, from the first booking to the last wipe of the counter.
One checklist per service
Every visit follows the written checklist for its service, so you know what will be done before the team arrives.
Quality checks
New team members clean alongside an experienced cleaner before working alone, and a supervisor checks a sample of visits each week.
Clear communication
A confirmation when you book, a reminder the day before, and a message when the team arrives and finishes.
Respect for your home
Access details are shared only with your team. We put things back where they were and follow your instructions about rooms and products.
Insured and checked
Haven carries general liability insurance, and every team member is background-checked before their first visit.
Put right, quickly
If something on the checklist was missed, tell us within 48 hours and we come back to finish it.
Training and quality control
Each new cleaner learns the checklists room by room, including which products are safe on which surfaces, then works alongside an experienced team member before taking visits on their own.
Supervisors review a sample of visits every week and read every piece of feedback. When something goes wrong, we fix the visit first, then the process, so it doesn't happen again.
